DV congratuations!

I really enjoyed the Derbyshire Digital Video Celebration event at County Hall yesterday. Around 140 teachers, pupils, parents and grandparents attended, to celebrate pupil's achievements in using Digital Video within the Curriculum.
Alan Charles presented prizes (donated from hardware and software suppliers who had attended our roadshow), along side my colleague Julie Parker, who stepped in at the last minute. Schools were presented with a certificate, prize, and the overall winners also received a solid gold Oscar!
And the winners were:

Foundation Stage: Holbrook CE Voluntary Controlled Primary School
Key Stage 1: Elmsleigh Infant and Nursery School
Lower Key Stage 2: Eureka Primary School
Upper Key Stage 2: Town End Junior School
Other prize winners (including commended entries) were:
Speedwell Infants, Parklands Infant and Nursery, Immaculate Conception Primary, Cotmanhay Infant and Nursery, Walton-on Trent Primary, Holbrook CE VC Primary (three in total), Parkside Junior, Norbriggs Primary, Arkwright Primary, Melbourne Junior, Creswell Junior, Eureka Primary (two in total) and Coppice Primary.
Entries will be shared on the Extranet soon.
